PrettyGreen marked the opening day of the ballot through a dancing flash mob, performing Beyoncé’s famous ‘hundred single ladies’ dance in Piccadilly Circus…30 pieces of national coverage and 3 million hits on YouTube later. Beyoncé even used the footage in her global tour.

The ‘last chance to win Beyoncé tickets’ gave us another excuse to have some fun, so we decided to play a giant game of Musical Chairs in central London. PrettyGreen seeded the activity through the placement of 100 ‘musical chairs’ across London. Activity was pre-promoted on Beyoncé fan sites and through a partnership with Capital FM. 300 people participated in the game, with 49 pieces of media coverage generated including 5 mins on GMTV.

Last but not least, a finale of sorts, PrettyGreen and Trident put an unexpected smile on the faces of Londoners with our Beyoncé Buskers. Positioning themselves all around London, the smiley duo performed their rendition of a selection of Beyoncé hits. Anyone generous enough to ‘put a pound in it’ were given a pair of tickets to see Bouncy herself at Tridents Exclusive concert for competition winners on November 15th. Capital FM, Metro and BBC news online helped to give consumers a heads up to keep their eyes peeled! 900 tickets and many happy faces later…our job was done.
